   A couple of wears in, Paul Smith Rose has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Rose/Green Tea impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Turkish Rose and Magnolia feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I keep reaching for Paul Smith Rose more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Rose with Green Tea peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Musk and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I keep reaching for Paul Smith Rose more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Turkish Rose with Magnolia, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Musk and Cedar come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Paul Smith Rose. The drydown leans on Musk plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Turkish Rose and Magnolia feel carefully balanced. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Picked up a sample of Paul Smith Rose after reading the community buzz (2007). Right away I get mostly Rose alongside Green Tea, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Musk plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. The composition is well made but not for me.
