   I have owned Endymion for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Coffee with Geranium comes forward — smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Picked up a sample of Endymion after reading the community buzz (2003). The drydown leans on Leather plus Cardamon and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   My first Penhaligon’s experience was this one, Endymion (2003). As it settles, Leather and Cardamon come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Leather plus Cardamon and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Endymion. The opening is built around Lavender and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Leather and Cardamon come through and give it real depth. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I wanted to like it more than I did.
