   Picked up a sample of Endymion Concentré after reading the community buzz (2016). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Suede with Geranium, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Suede and Geranium feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I picked up Endymion Concentré (2016) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Lavender and Sage — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Suede with Geranium, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   My first Penhaligon’s experience was this one, Endymion Concentré (2016). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Suede with Geranium, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Sage impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Penhaligon’s knows how to compose, and Endymion Concentré (2016) is proof. Give it a little time and Suede with Geranium comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Suede and Geranium feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   For a 2016 release, Endymion Concentré deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Sage — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Sage, fresh and very easy to wear. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Endymion Concentré for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Sage, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Leather and Nutmeg — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

The base rests on Leather and Nutmeg — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

As it settles, Leather and Nutmeg come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I wanted to like it more than I did.
