   I keep reaching for Halfeti Leather more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Leather plus Agarwood (Oud) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Plum and Cardamom — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Halfeti Leather (2020) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Nutmeg and Rose feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Plum/Cardamom impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Picked up a sample of Halfeti Leather after reading the community buzz (2020). Give it a little time and Nutmeg with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. The opening is built around Plum and Cardamom — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Penhaligon’s knows how to compose, and Halfeti Leather (2020) is proof. As it settles, Leather and Agarwood (Oud) come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Plum alongside Cardamom, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Halfeti Leather. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Nutmeg with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Nutmeg and Rose feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   For a 2020 release, Halfeti Leather deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Leather and Agarwood (Oud) — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Nutmeg with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I would happily buy a full bottle.

Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
