   My first Penhaligon’s experience was this one, Juniper Sling (2011). The drydown leans on Vetiver plus Sugar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Juniper Berries/Orange impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Everyone keeps talking about Juniper Sling, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Vetiver and Sugar come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Juniper Berries with Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Picked up a sample of Juniper Sling after reading the community buzz (2011). The opening is built around Juniper Berries and Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pepper with Cardamom, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Juniper Sling for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pepper with Cardamom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Pepper and Cardamom feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Juniper Sling (2011) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Right away I get mostly Juniper Berries alongside Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Vetiver and Sugar come through and give it real depth. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

    A couple of wears in, Juniper Sling has really grown on me. As it settles, Vetiver and Sugar come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Vetiver and Sugar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
