   Everyone keeps talking about Candy Prada 2011 Eau de Parfum, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Benzoin Siam, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Caramel — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A decant of Candy Prada 2011 Eau de Parfum sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Benzoin Siam, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp White Musk, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Candy Prada 2011 Eau de Parfum has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Caramel and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly White Musk, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I have owned Candy Prada 2011 Eau de Parfum for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Benzoin Siam feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about White Musk — it grabs attention without being pushy. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Candy Prada 2011 Eau de Parfum. The very first sniff is crisp White Musk, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about White Musk — it grabs attention without being pushy. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
