   A couple of wears in, Infusion d’Amande has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bitter Almond with Heliotrope, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Bitter Almond and Heliotrope feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   Everyone keeps talking about Infusion d’Amande, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Bitter Almond with Heliotrope comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Bitter Almond and Heliotrope feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
