   A friend passed me a decant of Infusion d’Iris (2007) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Galbanum, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Virginia Cedar and Incense come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I picked up Infusion d’Iris (2007) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Virginia Cedar and Incense come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp African Orange Flower with Neroli peeking through, very much my kind of start. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
