   My first Prada experience was this one, L’Homme Intense (2017). As it settles, Tonka Bean and Leather come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Tonka Bean and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Everyone keeps talking about L’Homme Intense, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Iris, fresh and very easy to wear. The very first sniff is crisp Iris, very much my kind of start. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of L’Homme Intense (2017) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Tonka Bean and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Amber with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

Right away I get mostly Iris, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I picked up L’Homme Intense (2017) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Right away I get mostly Iris, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Amber with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
