   I’ve been wearing Prada Candy Night on and off for a few weeks now (2019). That first spray gives a lovely Iris/Bitter Orange impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Chocolate plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Prada Candy Night (2019) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Chocolate and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla and Tonka Bean feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla and Tonka Bean feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanilla with Tonka Bean, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Chocolate and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. The composition is well made but not for me.
