   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Puredistance M No. 03. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Amalfi Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Bergamot and Amalfi Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Puredistance knows how to compose, and Puredistance M No. 03 (2010) is proof. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Amalfi Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Vanilla with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   For a 2010 release, Puredistance M No. 03 deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Bergamot and Amalfi Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Leather plus Cinnamon and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Puredistance M No. 03 (2010) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanilla with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Amalfi Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
