   A friend passed me a decant of 1 Million (2008) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Amber and Leather come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Blood Mandarin/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for 1 Million more than I expected to. The first minutes are all about Blood Mandarin with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Blood Mandarin with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Picked up a sample of 1 Million after reading the community buzz (2008). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cinnamon with Spicy Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Amber plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
