   A decant of Invictus Legend sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Sea Notes with Sea Salt peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bay Leaf with Geranium, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   Picked up a sample of Invictus Legend after reading the community buzz (2019). Give it a little time and Bay Leaf with Geranium comes forward — smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Sea Notes alongside Sea Salt, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Everyone keeps talking about Invictus Legend, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Bay Leaf and Geranium feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Sea Notes alongside Sea Salt, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. The composition is well made but not for me.

   I keep reaching for Invictus Legend more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Red Amber plus Guaiac Wood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Red Amber and Guaiac Wood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I picked up Invictus Legend (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Bay Leaf and Geranium feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bay Leaf with Geranium, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Invictus Legend. The base rests on Red Amber and Guaiac Wood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Red Amber and Guaiac Wood come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
