   I picked up Invictus Platinum (2022) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Cypress and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Cypress and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first Rabanne experience was this one, Invictus Platinum (2022). Give it a little time and Mint with Lavender comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Cypress and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The very first sniff is crisp Absinthe with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of Invictus Platinum after reading the community buzz (2022). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Mint with Lavender, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Absinthe and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

As it settles, Cypress and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The opening is built around Absinthe and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
