   A decant of Olympéa Flora sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The opening is built around Black Currant and Sorbet — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Vanilla and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   A friend passed me a decant of Olympéa Flora (2023) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Peony feel carefully balanced. As it settles, Vanilla and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Rabanne knows how to compose, and Olympéa Flora (2023) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Black Currant with a hint of Sorbet — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.
