   My first Rabanne experience was this one, Olympéa Intense (2016). Give it a little time and Vanilla with Vanilla Absolute comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla and Vanilla Absolute feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanilla with Vanilla Absolute, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
