   Everyone keeps talking about Ultrared, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Vanilla and Cedar come through and give it real depth. Give it a little time and Marshmallow with Licorice comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Ultrared more than I expected to. As it settles, Vanilla and Cedar come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Red Currant alongside Strawberry, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. The composition is well made but not for me.

   I’ve been wearing Ultrared on and off for a few weeks now (2008). The first minutes are all about Red Currant with a hint of Strawberry — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Marshmallow and Licorice feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

As it settles, Vanilla and Cedar come through and give it real depth. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Picked up a sample of Ultrared after reading the community buzz (2008). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Marshmallow with Licorice, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Red Currant with Strawberry peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
