   A couple of wears in, Beyond Romance has really grown on me. As it settles, Vanilla and Cashmeran come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Raspberry with Mandarin Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   For a 2019 release, Beyond Romance deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Vanilla and Cashmeran — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Mandarin Orange impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I picked up Beyond Romance (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Vanilla and Cashmeran come through and give it real depth. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Beyond Romance, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose de Mai with Lily-of-the-Valley, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Mandarin Orange impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Ralph Lauren knows how to compose, and Beyond Romance (2019) is proof. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Mandarin Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
