   A decant of Dragée sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The first minutes are all about Mandarin Orange with a hint of Cardamom — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Cardamom impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Dragée (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Cardamom, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Almond Blossom with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Dragée has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Almond Blossom with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Almond Blossom with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Cardamom peeking through, very much my kind of start. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
