   For a 1973 release, Ciara deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Opoponax and Incense — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Brazilian Rosewood and Ylang-Ylang feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   My first Revlon experience was this one, Ciara (1973). The drydown leans on Opoponax plus Incense and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Raspberry and Neroli — bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Ciara. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Neroli, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Brazilian Rosewood and Ylang-Ylang feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Revlon knows how to compose, and Ciara (1973) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Neroli impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Neroli, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I’ve been wearing Ciara on and off for a few weeks now (1973). The heart is the best part for me: Brazilian Rosewood and Ylang-Ylang feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Neroli impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

I wanted to like it more than I did.
