   I’ve been wearing Fire & Ice on and off for a few weeks now (1994). The base rests on Amber and Incense — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Tangerine and Orange Blossom — bright and immediately recognizable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. The composition is well made but not for me.

   I have owned Fire & Ice for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orchid with Tuberose, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Amber and Incense come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   A couple of wears in, Fire & Ice has really grown on me. The opening is built around Tangerine and Orange Blossom — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Tangerine/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
