   I’ve been wearing Reb’l Fleur on and off for a few weeks now (2010). The base rests on Vanille and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Vanille plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Everyone keeps talking about Reb’l Fleur, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Peach with Plum peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Vanille and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Reb’l Fleur. The very first sniff is crisp Peach with Plum peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Coconut with Tuberose, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The heart is the best part for me: Coconut and Tuberose feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   My first Rihanna experience was this one, Reb’l Fleur (2010). The first minutes are all about Peach with a hint of Plum — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Vanille plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
