I picked up Fracas (1948) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Peach and Orange Blossom β€” bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough β€” it carries well without shouting. I would happily buy a full bottle.

A friend passed me a decant of Fracas (1948) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

For a 1948 release, Fracas deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Peach and Orange Blossom β€” bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Robert Piguet knows how to compose, and Fracas (1948) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Peach with a hint of Orange Blossom β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

For a 1948 release, Fracas deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Jasmine comes forward β€” smooth and well done. The opening is built around Peach and Orange Blossom β€” bright and immediately recognizable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done β€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

A decant of Fracas sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Jasmine comes forward β€” smooth and well done. The opening is built around Peach and Orange Blossom β€” bright and immediately recognizable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

My first Robert Piguet experience was this one, Fracas (1948). The first minutes are all about Peach with a hint of Orange Blossom β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Jasmine comes forward β€” smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather β€” in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Everyone keeps talking about Fracas, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Peach alongside Orange Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Picked up a sample of Fracas after reading the community buzz (1948). As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I picked up Fracas (1948) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The very first sniff is crisp Peach with Orange Blossom peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
