   My first Roberto Cavalli experience was this one, Roberto Cavalli Uomo (2016). The very first sniff is crisp Black Violet with Saffron peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Honey with Lavender, which is where the fragrance really shines. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Roberto Cavalli Uomo has really grown on me. The base rests on Tonka Bean and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Tonka Bean plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I have owned Roberto Cavalli Uomo for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Black Violet alongside Saffron, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Black Violet with a hint of Saffron — it grabs attention without being pushy. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I keep reaching for Roberto Cavalli Uomo more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Black Violet with Saffron peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Black Violet and Saffron — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. The composition is well made but not for me.

   I picked up Roberto Cavalli Uomo (2016) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The drydown leans on Tonka Bean plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Tonka Bean and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   Everyone keeps talking about Roberto Cavalli Uomo, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Tonka Bean and Cedar come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Tonka Bean plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Give it a little time and Honey with Lavender comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
