   A couple of wears in, Fleur d’Osmanthus has really grown on me. Give it a little time and Osmanthus with Grapefruit comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Osmanthus with Grapefruit, which is where the fragrance really shines. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   A friend passed me a decant of Fleur d’Osmanthus (2011) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Osmanthus with Grapefruit, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Osmanthus with Grapefruit comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2011 release, Fleur d’Osmanthus deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Osmanthus with Grapefruit comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Osmanthus and Grapefruit feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

The heart is the best part for me: Osmanthus and Grapefruit feel carefully balanced. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I would happily buy a full bottle.

It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   Roger & Gallet knows how to compose, and Fleur d’Osmanthus (2011) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Osmanthus with Grapefruit, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Osmanthus and Grapefruit feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
