   I’ve been wearing Cheirosa ’40 on and off for a few weeks now (2021). The base rests on Vanilla and Woodsy Notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Plum and Black Amber — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Picked up a sample of Cheirosa ’40 after reading the community buzz (2021). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orchid with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Plum and Black Amber — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2021 release, Cheirosa ’40 deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Plum alongside Black Amber, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Woodsy Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

Give it a little time and Orchid with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A decant of Cheirosa ’40 sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Orchid and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orchid with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
