   For a 1959 release, Tabac Original deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Chamomile with Lavender comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Sandalwood and Carnation — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Tabac experience was this one, Tabac Original (1959). The base rests on Sandalwood and Carnation — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Petitgrain alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I picked up Tabac Original (1959) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Chamomile and Lavender feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Petitgrain with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I picked up Tabac Original (1959) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Petitgrain with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Sandalwood and Carnation — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
