   A friend passed me a decant of Taylor (2013) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Apricot and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. Give it a little time and Vanilla Orchid with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for Taylor more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla Orchid and Peony feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Vanilla Orchid with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Taylor Swift knows how to compose, and Taylor (2013) is proof. The very first sniff is crisp Litchi with Tangerine peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Litchi and Tangerine — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I have owned Taylor for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Apricot plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Apricot and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I’ve been wearing Taylor on and off for a few weeks now (2013). Right away I get mostly Litchi alongside Tangerine, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Litchi with a hint of Tangerine — it grabs attention without being pushy. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

The base rests on Apricot and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

    My first Taylor Swift experience was this one, Taylor (2013). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanilla Orchid with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Apricot and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
