   Everyone keeps talking about Hammam, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Hammam. Give it a little time and Orange Blossom with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I keep reaching for Hammam more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Hammam mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Mandarin Orange with a hint of Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Tesori d’Oriente knows how to compose, and Hammam is proof. The base rests on Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The base rests on Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
