   I’ve been wearing Candy Eau de Parfum on and off for a few weeks now (2023). The base rests on Cotton Candy and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Give it a little time and Raspberry Bloom with Tiare Flower comes forward — smooth and well done. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Candy Eau de Parfum (2023) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Cotton Candy plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Raspberry Bloom and Tiare Flower feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Candy Eau de Parfum. The very first sniff is crisp Red fruits with Cherry peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Red fruits/Cherry impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   Everyone keeps talking about Candy Eau de Parfum, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Raspberry Bloom with Tiare Flower comes forward — smooth and well done. The opening is built around Red fruits and Cherry — bright and immediately recognizable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I have owned Candy Eau de Parfum for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Cotton Candy and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Cotton Candy plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The first minutes are all about Red fruits with a hint of Cherry — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   My first Thomas Kosmala experience was this one, Candy Eau de Parfum (2023). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Raspberry Bloom with Tiare Flower, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Cotton Candy and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
