   My first Tocca experience was this one, Cleopatra (2007). The first minutes are all about Grapefruit with a hint of Black Currant — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Grapefruit with Black Currant peeking through, very much my kind of start. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Everyone keeps talking about Cleopatra, so I finally gave it a proper test. The first minutes are all about Grapefruit with a hint of Black Currant — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Musk plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Everyone keeps talking about Cleopatra, so I finally gave it a proper test. That first spray gives a lovely Grapefruit/Black Currant impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Peach, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Give it a little time and Jasmine with Peach comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

Right away I get mostly Grapefruit alongside Black Currant, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
