   I keep reaching for Fougère d’Argent more than I expected to. The opening is built around Lavender and Ginger — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Ginger — it grabs attention without being pushy. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A decant of Fougère d’Argent sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Akigalawood® with Labdanum, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Ginger peeking through, very much my kind of start. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I picked up Fougère d’Argent (2018) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Lavender and Ginger — bright and immediately recognizable. Give it a little time and Akigalawood® with Labdanum comes forward — smooth and well done. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Tom Ford knows how to compose, and Fougère d’Argent (2018) is proof. The drydown leans on Coumarin and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Lavender and Ginger — bright and immediately recognizable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Ginger impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Fougère d’Argent (2018) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Akigalawood® and Labdanum feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Ginger, fresh and very easy to wear. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
