   I’ve been wearing Rive d’Ambre on and off for a few weeks now (2013). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Citruses with Bitter Orange, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Citruses and Bitter Orange feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I picked up Rive d’Ambre (2013) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Citruses with Bitter Orange, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Citruses and Bitter Orange feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
