   Picked up a sample of Rose Prick after reading the community buzz (2020). Give it a little time and May Rose with Bulgarian Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: May Rose and Bulgarian Rose feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I have owned Rose Prick for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Sichuan Pepper and Turmeric — bright and immediately recognizable. The base rests on Patchouli and Tonka Bean — warm, grounded and easy to live with. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A couple of wears in, Rose Prick has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into May Rose with Bulgarian Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Patchouli and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

That first spray gives a lovely Sichuan Pepper/Turmeric impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
