   A decant of Soleil Blanc sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Ylang-Ylang comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Coconut and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A friend passed me a decant of Soleil Blanc (2016) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Coconut and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Pistachio/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Soleil Blanc. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Ylang-Ylang, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Pistachio with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The drydown leans on Coconut plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

That first spray gives a lovely Pistachio/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
