   I’ve been wearing Vanille Fatale on and off for a few weeks now (2017). Right away I get mostly Rum alongside Myrrh, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Barley with Coffee, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I picked up Vanille Fatale (2017) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Rum/Myrrh impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Rum alongside Myrrh, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Barley with Coffee, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Barley and Coffee feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Right away I get mostly Rum alongside Myrrh, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
