   I have owned Skin for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Violet Leaf/Apple impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Violet Leaf alongside Apple, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Everyone keeps talking about Skin, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Brazilian Rosewood and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Brazilian Rosewood with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I’ve been wearing Skin on and off for a few weeks now (2002). The base rests on Musk and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Brazilian Rosewood with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

Right away I get mostly Violet Leaf alongside Apple, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2002 release, Skin deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Musk and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Violet Leaf and Apple — bright and immediately recognizable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. The composition is well made but not for me.

   I’ve been wearing Skin on and off for a few weeks now (2002). As it settles, Musk and Cedar come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Musk and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
