   I’ve been wearing Trussardi Uomo on and off for a few weeks now (1983). The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Honey and Carnation feel carefully balanced. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Everyone keeps talking about Trussardi Uomo, so I finally gave it a proper test. The base rests on Leather and Oakmoss — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Leather and Oakmoss come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A friend passed me a decant of Trussardi Uomo (1983) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly.    A couple of wears in, Trussardi Uomo has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Honey with Carnation, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I would happily buy a full bottle.
