   I picked up Mirabile (2015) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Vanilla/Malt impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Milk and Rum feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A decant of Mirabile sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Vanilla Absolute and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. The first minutes are all about Vanilla with a hint of Malt — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

That first spray gives a lovely Vanilla/Malt impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Mirabile. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Milk with Rum, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Vanilla alongside Malt, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I’ve been wearing Mirabile on and off for a few weeks now (2015). The drydown leans on Vanilla Absolute plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Milk and Rum feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
