   I’ve been wearing Feerie on and off for a few weeks now (2008). The heart is the best part for me: Bulgarian Rose and Egyptian Jasmine feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Violet alongside Black Currant, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A couple of wears in, Feerie has really grown on me. The opening is built around Violet and Black Currant — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bulgarian Rose with Egyptian Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Feerie (2008) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The very first sniff is crisp Violet with Black Currant peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bulgarian Rose with Egyptian Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

That first spray gives a lovely Violet/Black Currant impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A decant of Feerie sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Iris plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Violet with a hint of Black Currant — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
