   A couple of wears in, First has really grown on me. The very first sniff is crisp Aldehydes with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Aldehydes alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A decant of First sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Aldehydes with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Civet plus Oakmoss and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. The composition is well made but not for me.

   A decant of First sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Civet and Oakmoss come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Narcissus with Hiacynth, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Everyone keeps talking about First, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Narcissus with Hiacynth comes forward — smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Aldehydes alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Picked up a sample of First after reading the community buzz (1976). That first spray gives a lovely Aldehydes/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Civet and Oakmoss — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Everyone keeps talking about First, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Narcissus and Hiacynth feel carefully balanced. As it settles, Civet and Oakmoss come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
