   I picked up Princess Night (2012) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Watermelon, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A decant of Princess Night sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Raspberry with Watermelon peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Watermelon impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A couple of wears in, Princess Night has really grown on me. The opening is built around Raspberry and Watermelon — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Watermelon impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I wanted to like it more than I did.
