   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Rock Princess. The drydown leans on Cashmere Wood plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Cashmere Wood and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I’ve been wearing Rock Princess on and off for a few weeks now (2009). The base rests on Cashmere Wood and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Cashmere Wood and Musk come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Vera Wang knows how to compose, and Rock Princess (2009) is proof. The drydown leans on Cashmere Wood plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Peach — it grabs attention without being pushy. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   A friend passed me a decant of Rock Princess (2009) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Give it a little time and Heliotrope with Lily comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Heliotrope and Lily feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
