   Versace knows how to compose, and Bright Crystal (2006) is proof. The opening is built around Yuzu and Pomegranate — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Yuzu/Pomegranate impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Versace experience was this one, Bright Crystal (2006). Right away I get mostly Yuzu alongside Pomegranate, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Yuzu with a hint of Pomegranate — it grabs attention without being pushy. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A couple of wears in, Bright Crystal has really grown on me. The very first sniff is crisp Yuzu with Pomegranate peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peony with Lotus, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
