A decant of Eros sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Give it a little time and Tonka Bean with Ambroxan comes forward β€” smooth and well done. As it settles, Madagascar Vanilla and Virginian Cedar come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

I picked up Eros (2012) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Tonka Bean and Ambroxan feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Mint/Green Apple impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Eros. That first spray gives a lovely Mint/Green Apple impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Tonka Bean with Ambroxan comes forward β€” smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

I keep reaching for Eros more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Mint with Green Apple peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tonka Bean with Ambroxan, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

Everyone keeps talking about Eros, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Tonka Bean and Ambroxan feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Madagascar Vanilla plus Virginian Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. The composition is well made but not for me.

A friend passed me a decant of Eros (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The first minutes are all about Mint with a hint of Green Apple β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. This one gets my highest praise β€” beautiful from start to finish.

I picked up Eros (2012) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Right away I get mostly Mint alongside Green Apple, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Madagascar Vanilla and Virginian Cedar β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

Picked up a sample of Eros after reading the community buzz (2012). The drydown leans on Madagascar Vanilla plus Virginian Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Mint and Green Apple β€” bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
