   I keep reaching for Versense more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cardamom with Lily, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Cardamom and Lily feel carefully balanced. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

As it settles, Virginia Cedar and Musk come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
