   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Bombshell. The very first sniff is crisp Passionfruit with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Passionfruit/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A couple of wears in, Bombshell has really grown on me. The very first sniff is crisp Passionfruit with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peony with Vanilla Orchid, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   For a 2010 release, Bombshell deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Musk plus Woody Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Passionfruit/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Bombshell (2010) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Peony and Vanilla Orchid feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peony with Vanilla Orchid, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

As it settles, Musk and Woody Notes come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

Right away I get mostly Passionfruit alongside Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
