   I keep reaching for Bonbon more than I expected to. Give it a little time and Caramel with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Amber plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Viktor&Rolf knows how to compose, and Bonbon (2014) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Caramel and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. As it settles, Amber and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Bonbon. The drydown leans on Amber plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Peach with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A couple of wears in, Bonbon has really grown on me. Right away I get mostly Peach alongside Mandarin Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Caramel with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Bonbon, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Caramel with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Caramel with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I wanted to like it more than I did.

A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Mandarin Orange impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
