   I picked up Flowerbomb Dew (2020) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Ambrette (Musk Mallow)/Pear impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, White Musk and Cashmeran come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A couple of wears in, Flowerbomb Dew has really grown on me. Give it a little time and Iris with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Ambrette (Musk Mallow)/Pear impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Viktor&Rolf knows how to compose, and Flowerbomb Dew (2020) is proof. The first minutes are all about Ambrette (Musk Mallow) with a hint of Pear — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Rose feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Viktor&Rolf experience was this one, Flowerbomb Dew (2020). The drydown leans on White Musk plus Cashmeran and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Ambrette (Musk Mallow) alongside Pear, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
