   I’ve been wearing Spicebomb Infrared on and off for a few weeks now (2021). Give it a little time and Cinnamon with Red Pepper comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Tobacco and Benzoin — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   For a 2021 release, Spicebomb Infrared deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Tobacco plus Benzoin and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Red fruits/Pink Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I picked up Spicebomb Infrared (2021) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Tobacco and Benzoin — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Give it a little time and Cinnamon with Red Pepper comes forward — smooth and well done. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   My first Viktor&Rolf experience was this one, Spicebomb Infrared (2021). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cinnamon with Red Pepper, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Cinnamon with Red Pepper comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   A couple of wears in, Spicebomb Infrared has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Tobacco plus Benzoin and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Red fruits and Pink Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Viktor&Rolf knows how to compose, and Spicebomb Infrared (2021) is proof. The very first sniff is crisp Red fruits with Pink Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Red fruits/Pink Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The drydown leans on Tobacco plus Benzoin and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
